Insta Snow is a synthetic polymer with super, water absorbing properties. It's the only faux snow on the market today that erupts when water is added, is instantly cold to the touch, and stays cold!
What do we do with the "Snow"? The obvious use is for decorating for parties and around the holidays. Sprinkle on evergreen trees to produce a realistic snow effect. Use in snow villages and train displays. It's also fun in centerpieces and other table decorations (ex. place a plate charger on a bed of "snow" for a dramatic tablescape). I've also sent it as a stocking stuffer for friends and relatives who live in snowless enviornments. It absolutely wows the kids. Teachers have also used it in science class & as a fun activity.
Each package comes with a scoop. Just mix 1 teaspoon of Insta Snow powder for each 2 ounces of room temperature water to produce the best quality snow. Insta Snow expands 100 times it's original volume. One package produces 3 quarts (12 cups) of "snow".
Insta Snow is non-toxic and is safe to use around children and pets, although adult supervision is always recommended when using Insta Snow. It can be placed on almost any surface except untreated wood.Keep off any surface that might be damaged by water. Surfaces that are ideal include tile, plastic, and glass.Clean up is easy, just brush the surface clean or use a vacuum to pick up the snow. Note that it will not leave a wet spot on a tablecloth.
The"snow"will start to dehydrate after a few days, due to evaporation. You can just spray the top of the "snow" with water and fluff to give the snow a fresh look.
